Our meet that was held on April 30th was a great success! We would like to thank everyone for coming and will announce when the next meet will be in a couple weeks!

We've added  a new item to our own products!  It's a front mounted intercooler kit for the Mazdaspeed 3, first generation cars.  The kit reduces heat sink and gives substantially cooler air to the intercooler than the stock engine mounted setup.  It'll be $795 when we have it up on our site.  Ebay, a little more.  Give us a call if you can't wait!  It'll be available in our webstore soon as will a PDF of the installation instructions.

Brothers Craig, and John Zyskoski founded Epic Tuning in 1997. The operation began out of their one car garage and primarily concentrated on watercooled Volkswagens. Since then, they have expanded to include Honda/Acura, Mazda, Nissan, Mitsubishi and almost anything in the performance car world. Their original goal was to build well rounded cars that looked better and performed at much higher levels of acceleration, handling and braking. They also wanted to pay more attention to details and provide better products to their customers. They still have those goals in mind and have improved their capabilities over the years by adding a huge list of available parts, a larger shop, and some employees. In the almost ten years since Epic's beginning, they've also gained turbocharging expertise, added in-house fabrication, engine building services and have even gathered some drag racing experience.

John Zyskoski

John began the business because of a great passion for all things automotive. He enjoyed improving cars that were already good, but had still greater potential to unlock. He started playing with cars when he was about 14 and read everything he could get his hands on about them. He started  to adjust ignition timing, to take apart engines and teach himself body work.  He realized that he liked small cars over his Dad's V8s early on, and was drawn in the direction of imports. A drive in a friend's early VW GTI cemented his love for small and light cars that were a blast to drive.  After he got his own GTI, he started to improve it, and started to attract others looking for help to hop-up their own cars. That's how the idea for Epic was born.

Craig Zyskoski

Craig began a love for cars early in life, too, attending races and helping John on his cars, until he got his own. His first car was a 200,000 mile junker which he and John turned into a  magazine worthy show winner. Over time, Craig and Epic have focused even more on performance upgrades than appearance and also started drag racing. Rotary engines intrigued Craig, and he researched and started building and modifying them. Turbo charging and rotaries naturally go together, so Craig became expert in turbocharging. Reliability issues in rotaries then led him toward Hondas and Acuras for their dependability and turbo friendly engines. This has led to Epic's primary focus on Honda/Acura cars to date. Craig's continuing education in engine tuning and also machining have helped tremendously in the shop. His tireless research on all things automotive, have made him an encyclopedia of knowledge.

Matt Eharth

Matt was a friend of Craig's for a long time and was thrown into the Epic mix in early 2005.  In addition to wrenching on cars, Matt has experience in motorcycles, as well.  He was a mechanic and service writer at a local motorcycle dealer and now works with Epic customers on their service and parts needs. You'll likely talk to Matt when you give Epic a call.
