The Epic Tuning Front Mount Intercooler Kit for the 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed 3 is a quality, complete kit that actually fits. Plus, no irreversible modifications to your car are required! This makes it ideal for any one who wants to upgrade to better charge air cooling and no engine heat soak, without all the “adjustment” that’s usually required to make a front mount fit. Our kit even utilizes factory holes for the intercooler mounting brackets. The heart of any FMIC is the intercooler, and we use a Precision unit with cast end tanks and a Garrett bar and plate core for great flow and exceptional durability. Some cheaper kits use cores that actually flow less than stock. We use high quality Vibrant reinforced silicone connectors, stainless steel clamps, and polished 1.5mm thick T6061 aluminum piping. Our piping length is shorter and more direct than some other kits, and this allows for quicker throttle response. Our tubing ends are bead rolled for reliable hose retention. A laser cut flange allows for use of your stock bypass valve, or an aftermarket bypass valve for the Mazdaspeed 3. A detailed instruction sheet is included. Note: Kit REQUIRES an aftermarket intake system such as Injen, etc. to remove the factory air filter box. This allows room for the new piping.
